Low-E Film
Single-glazed windows are the biggest thermal hole in most Sydney homes: in winter up to 40% of your heating pours straight out through the glass, and in summer the heat pours back in. You pay for it every quarter on the power bill.
Low-emissivity (Low-E) film is an invisible metallised layer that reflects radiant heat back to its source: your heating stays inside in July, the sun stays outside in January. It’s the closest thing to retrofitting double glazing without touching the frames.
For older homes, apartments where strata won’t allow new windows, and anyone quoted five figures for double glazing, Low-E film delivers most of the benefit for a fraction of the price.

How It Works
Every surface radiates heat. Standard glass radiates your expensive warmth straight outdoors. A Low-E coating drops the emissivity of the glass dramatically, so radiant heat is reflected back toward its source instead of escaping.
In winter that means your heater’s warmth bounces back into the room. In summer, the sun’s radiant heat bounces back outside. One film, working both directions, all year.
Some Low-E films aren’t suitable for some glazing types, so we assess your glass first and match a film that performs safely.
